Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has accepted cricketer Lahiru Thirimanne’s request to retire from all forms of International Cricket.
Issuing a statement, the SLC stated that its Executive Committee accepted the resignation of Lahiru Thirimanne.
This follows a resignation letter the player sent to Sri Lanka Cricket announcing his intention to retire from playing international cricket for his country, SLC stated.
Lahiru Thirimanne’s desire to retire from all international cricket has been granted by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
The SLC announced that Lahiru Thirimanne’s resignation has been accepted by the Executive Committee.
This comes after the player informed Sri Lanka Cricket in a letter of resignation that he intended to stop playing international cricket for his nation.
