Two cricketers from Sri Lanka who are competing in the Asia Cup tested positive for COVID-19.
However, according to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) officials, both players will be ready for the series when they are fully recovered.
The two cricket players will be absent from today’s (August 24) practises.
Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera of Sri Lanka are already questionable for the competition owing to injuries.
Due to the recent injury he got playing in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), Dushmantha Chameera is unlikely to participate in the cricket competition.
