According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the 5th round of bilateral political consultations between Sri Lanka and Thailand will take place on August 28, 2023, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombo.
Foreign Secretary Aruni Wijewardane and Thailand’s Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Sarun Charoensuwan will co-chair the consultations.
The consultations are anticipated to evaluate the state of bilateral ties and areas of continued collaboration, such as politics, trade and investment, defence, culture, and tourism, as well as common interests.
On February 28, 2018, two nations had their fourth round of bilateral political consultations in Colombo.
