Comparing today (Sept. 04) to last Friday, the Sri Lankan Rupee has slightly declined versus the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka.
The US dollar exchange rate at Peoples Bank has climbed from Rs. 311.42 to Rs. 312.39 and from Rs. 326.05 to Rs. 327.07, respectively.
The buying rate for the US dollar has decreased from Rs. 313.72 to Rs. 312.26, and the selling rate has decreased from Rs. 326 to Rs. 324.50, according to Commercial Bank.
The buying and selling rates for the US dollar, however, have increased at Sampath Bank from Rs. 312 to Rs. 314 and from Rs. 323 to Rs. 325, respectively.
