‘Channel 4’ in the UK has stated that it will air a new documentary on Tuesday (Sept. 05) that is said to reveal disturbing facts about Sri Lanka’s Easter Sunday atrocities.
As high-placed whistleblowers allege cooperation by authorities inside the government, the new documentary “Sri Lanka’s Easter Bombings – Dispatches,” according to Channel 4, has “shocking new revelations about Sri Lanka’s deadly Easter bombings of 2019.”
The same source is said to have claimed that he set up a 2018 meeting between a top military intelligence official and Islamic State-affiliated bombers in an interview with Dispatches, which will appear in the UK on Channel 4 tomorrow.
According to reports, the whistleblower is Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan, the state minister for rural road development and the leader of the Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Pullikal (TMVP).
Also making shocking admissions to the UN in Geneva was the informant of the TMVP, the LTTE’s splinter wing.
After airing several contentious documentaries alleging that war crimes had been committed in Sri Lanka, including its 2011 documentary “Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields,” a sobering examination of the closing days of the Sri Lankan war, the British television network “Channel 4” became well-known in Sri Lanka.
