Manusha Nanayakkara, minister of labour and foreign employment, has disclosed that a new investigation will be carried out on the recent charges made by UK’s “Channel 4” over the 2019 Easter Sunday terror strikes.

A special Parliamentary Committee will be established for this reason, according to Nanayakkara, who spoke to the legislature this morning (Sept. 5) and added that while the necessity for international help to look into these allegations has been acknowledged, such measures would also be adopted if necessary.

He assured that the current administration will not hesitate to look into these claims by claiming that the subjects of concern were discussed in the Cabinet meeting held on Monday (04 September).
