On Thursday (07), with the involvement of both Japanese and Sri Lankan authorities, the power sector projects in Sri Lanka that were established with the financial and technical aid of the Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) were examined.
According to Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera, conversations were held about the development of ongoing projects, the restart of projects that had been put on hold because of the financial crisis, upcoming projects for the integration of renewable energy sources, and technical support and technology for energy projects.
