Legendary Pakistani bowler Waqar Younis has praised the play of a Sri Lankan Under-19 cricketer who he believes is progressing through the ranks well and has the potential to be selected by Sri Lanka in the future.
Younis claimed on ‘X’ that Sharujun Shanmuganathan is a young talent for Sri Lanka, much as Dunith Wellalage, who was discovered as such.
