The Road Safety World Series announced the start of the first “No Honking Twenty20 Series,” a campaign to raise awareness of the pressing need for safer conditions on Indian roadways.
Teams from India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh will compete in the three-match series, which begins on September 16 and runs through September 18 at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose ground in Mumbai.
The event is a continuation of the well-liked Road Safety World Series, which is sponsored by the Indian Ministries of Road Transport and Highways, Information & Technology, and Youth Affairs & Sports.
The “No Honking Twenty20 Series” attempts to lower the current decibel level of continuous honking on Indian roadways, which is over 85.
