On the main road between Badalkumbura and Badulla, a passenger bus operated by the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) collided with a bowser truck, inflicting injuries on six people.
According to the authorities, the accident happened today (19) in the Pussellawa neighbourhood of the Badalkumbura authorities Division.
The two drivers of the two vehicles involved in the collision and the four passengers who were on board the bus at the time of the accident make up the group of six injured people who have been sent to the Monaragala District Hospital for medical attention.
They don’t have a life-threatening ailment, according to hospital sources. The event is the subject of additional investigations being carried out by Badalkumbura Police officers.
