Compared to Monday, the Sri Lankan Rupee has decreased in value versus the US Dollar at the country’s commercial banks today (Sept. 19).
The US dollar exchange rates at Peoples Bank have increased from Rs. 315.93 to Rs. 316.67 and from Rs. 330.12 to Rs. 330.89, respectively.
The purchase rate for the US dollar has risen to Rs. 317.68, according to Commercial Bank, while the selling rate has risen to Rs. 328.
The purchasing and selling rates for US dollars have increased at Sampath Bank to Rs. 319 and Rs. 329, respectively.
