Beginning in October 2023, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board will start issuing monthly invoices to customers in some areas of Sri Lanka by text messaging.
Customers in the Colombo South, Kandy South, Polonnaruwa, and Trincomalee regions will receive their monthly bills through text message, according to the Water Board.
Beginning on October 1, 2023, residents in the aforementioned areas will get their monthly bills by text message.
The Water Board added that starting on January 1, 2024, the entire island will use this system.
