In honour of World Children’s Day, children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge to the National Zoological Gardens in Dehiwala (Dehiwala Zoo) on October 1, 2023.
Accordingly, a number of unique events and performances are planned to take place at the Dehiwala Zoo from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., according to a statement from the Department of National Zoological Gardens.
The activities planned for the day are meant to amuse kids while also fostering in them attitudes and skills related to protecting the environment and natural resources.
