In order to monitor, connect with, and coordinate with international and national cricket councils and to protect the growth, independence, and transparency of cricket in Sri Lanka, the Minister of Sports, Roshan Ranasinghe, has created a three-member International Sports Coordination Committee in Cricket.
Sidath Wettimuny, a former Sri Lankan cricketer, Upali Dharmadasa, a former president of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), and Rakitha Rajapakshe, a legal adviser and the son of Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, make up the relevant committee.
