The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has been requested to receive the facts and information pertaining to the proposal to once again raise the electricity rate from the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) within today (02) or tomorrow (03).
The PUCSL recently requested that the CEB raise energy rates once more, citing the necessity to pay for the expense of producing thermal power during the months when arid weather conditions were common throughout the nation.
