The Sri Lankan Rupee remains steady against the US Dollar today (Oct 02) compared to last Wednesday, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 318.26 to Rs. 318.27, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 329.90 to Rs. 329.01.
The Rupee has also depreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has significantly appreciated against Gulf currencies.
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka reports that the value of the Sri Lankan Rupee against the US Dollar is unchanged as of today (Oct. 02) in comparison to last Wednesday.
As a result, the price of a US dollar has climbed from Rs. 318.26 to Rs. 318.27, whereas the price of a US dollar has decreased from Rs.
While it has notably appreciated against Gulf currencies, the rupee has also declined against a basket of other currencies.
