Due to an unexpected trade union action, Sri Lanka Railway reports that the trains planned to run this evening (Oct. 03) are running late.
Guards working on the train reportedly went on strike by claiming ill time.
The trade union action is reportedly in response to a security guard’s alleged attack of a guard-in-training at the Maligawatta railway yard.
