Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says that Malaysia remains in solidarity with the struggles of the people of Palestine.
The Prime Minister also criticised the international community for their one-sided action over the issue of cruelty and oppression against Palestinians.
“As a result of this injustice, hundreds of innocent lives have been victims,” the Prime Minister posted on X on Sunday (Oct 8).
Earlier, Malaysia said that the root causes of the current violence in the Gaza Strip must be acknowledged.
“Palestinians have been subjected to the prolonged illegal occupation, blockade and suffering, the desecration of Al-Aqsa as well as the politics of dispossession at the hands of Israel as the occupier,” said the Foreign Ministry in a statement on Sunday (Oct 8).
