World Cup : Update on Kusal Mendis

A senior Sri Lanka cricket team official told that vice captain Kusal Mendis is healthy and ready to play against Australia in the forthcoming ICC World Cup match.

After his outstanding century against Pakistan in the most recent game, Mendis developed cramping and respiratory problems, which prompted officials to take him right away to the hospital.

The vice captain of Sri Lanka has reportedly recovered from his health difficulties and has been given the go-ahead to play.

They have a five-day break before the following match now that the Sri Lankan team has arrived in Lucknow for the following two games.

On October 16 and October 21, respectively, Sri Lanka will face Australia and the Netherlands in Lucknow.
