The Anti-Terrorism Bill has not yet been introduced to parliament, the Attorney General informed the Supreme Court today (Oct. 13).
When the petitions contesting the Bill were heard before a judge bench of the top court this morning, the Additional Solicitor General, who appeared on behalf of the Attorney General, conveyed this.
Parliamentarians from the National People’s Power (NPP), Vijitha Herath and Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, have submitted the petitions in question.
