In the Dampelessa neighbourhood of Narammala, a bus overturned and fell over a cliff, killing a 51-year-old passenger and injuring 18 others.
According to Sri Lanka Police, the bus was travelling from Alawwa to Narammala when it went off the road and plummeted down a cliff at Dampelessa, Narammala this afternoon (19 Oct.).
As a result of the event, seven people were admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital while 11 other people are being treated at the Narammala Hospital.
