The four-month-old infant child of Australian cricketer Fawad Ahmed passed away, the player stated.
The player and his wife had welcomed their second child in June of this year, but he was having a number of health problems and needed to be admitted to Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital to get a diagnosis. However, the cricketer broke the devastating news of his son’s passing on October 23.
In honour of Fawad Ahmed and his family, Australian cricketers will wear black armbands during today’s match against the Netherlands.
