Four (04) necessary food items are now cheaper at the state-owned grocery chain “Lanka Sathosa.”
Lanka Sathosa released a statement stating that the price adjustment is in place as of right now, on October 26.
The following are the four basic food items at their discounted prices:
Samba Rice (1 kg)
Reduce by – Rs. 06
New Price – Rs. 222
Red Rice (1kg)
Reduce by – Rs. 3
New Price – Rs. 169
Chickpea (1 kg)
Reduce by – Rs. 06
New Price – Rs. 549
Red Lentils (1 kg)
Reduced by – Rs. 05
New Price – Rs. 295.
