Due to a lack of engine drivers, the Department of Railways reports that about eight trains have been cancelled this morning (31) and this evening (31).
Due to the same circumstances, a total of 12 trains were reported to have been cancelled yesterday (30).
According to reports, the Department of Railways is now experiencing a shortfall of approximately 150 engine drivers and has not hired any new drivers for the railway service.
