Due to inclement weather, SriLankan Airlines’ two aircraft scheduled to arrive in Colombo were rerouted to India Friday evening, October 30. The flights have already arrived on the island.
The two aircraft arrive at Katunayake’s Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) Friday night
Due to unfavourable weather near the BIA and Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA), the national carrier’s flights UL365 from Jakarta to Colombo and UL116 from Malé to Colombo were diverted to Thiruvananthapuram Airport in India.
As a result, Flight UL365 arrived on the island at approximately 9:38 p.m., and Flight UL116 landed at 10:12 p.m.
