According to a report from the President’s Media Division (PMD), Prof. M. Sunil Shantha of the University of Sabaragamuwa’s Department of Economic & Statistics has been named the university’s vice chancellor.
In light of this, Prof. Shantha was named Vice Chancellor from November 02, 2023, for a term of three years.
The appointment was made by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the PMD stated.
