Officials from Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) are scheduled to testify before the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) today, November 14.
The meeting will start at 2:00 p.m. today, according to COPE chairman MP Ranjith Bandara.
He claims that two special studies as well as the suggestions offered by former COPE members would be examined.
For COPE meetings, the national cricket governing body has been called, with Prof. Charitha Herath and former MP Sunil Handunnetti serving as chairs.
Therefore, the recommendations made by the previous COPE chairpersons may also be included in the Auditor General’s report on SLC, which is scheduled to be discussed today.
Meanwhile, a summons to appear before the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) on November 17 has been sent to Sri Lanka Customs personnel.
