Inaugurating Global Entrepreneurship Week, Minister of State for Technology Kanaka Herath asked the departing young and entrepreneurs to actively support the country’s economic development in line with the goals of the DIGIECON 2030 plan.
State Minister Herath highlighted the Digi-Econ programme and continued efforts to create an environment that is supportive of entrepreneurial initiatives in order to develop a digital economy.
At the official opening of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which takes place from November 13 to November 21 and is an international festival with over 200 participating countries and the theme “Entrepreneurs Thrive Here,” the state minister expressed these views.
