At this moment, Israel is attacking Gaza for more than 100 days. 25000 people are killed in Gaza so far and 70% out of them are women and children. It is true that the attack on Israel by the Hamas rebels on October 7th was extremely despicable. But at this moment, the helpless Palestinians in Gaza are also being made to suffer and die due to the determined interests of the western nations including the US.
While influencing the world political mechanism by exploiting Human Rights, world politics is being handled by insane administrations with despicable moods capable to cause suffer and kill a community for their own political interests.
2.3 million people live in the Gaza Strip. According to the United Nations Palestine Refugee Agency (UNRWA), more than 1.7 million people are currently displaced. That is 75% of the population of the Gaza Strip. They are forced to move from place to place again and again to survive. The UN’s Palestine Refugee Agency says more accurate statistics cannot be obtained due to ongoing hostilities and frequent displacement. Rafah, the southern city on the border with Egypt, is already a densely populated area. According to Philippe Lazzarini, head of the United Nations Palestine Refugee Agency, the population of this city is now 1.2 million. That is four times the population capacity before the start of the conflict. The city is at a terrible risk of spreading infectious diseases.
Tens of thousands are living in makeshift tents and under plastic sheets that provide no alternative to the basic effects of nature such as rain, wind, and cold weather conditions. The surrounding environment carries all the risk of infectious diseases.
Health and Hospitals
According to the World Health Organization, most of the 36 hospitals in the area are inactive and only 15 are partially operational. Not enough fuel or medical supplies for hospitals. But those hospitals have to bear patients three times their capacity.
There are no active laboratories in the Gaza Strip. In this situation, the ability of doctors to diagnose patients is severely limited. In all these conditions infectious diseases are spreading rapidly. According to Richard Peeperkorn, WHO representative in Gaza, the number of cases of diarrhea among children under the age of five will be higher than the previous year’s average in November 2023. It has increased 20 times in a month. Hepatitis A, a contagious liver infection that can be transmitted through contaminated food and water, has been identified in these camps, according to the United Nations.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus wrote in X on Thursday that these people are living a life unfit for human beings. He points out that contaminated water, unhygienic toilets and the inability to keep the environment clean allow hepatitis to spread further. “The environment is at risk of creating a dangerous situation which can explore the spread of disease.” Director g=General affirmed.
Food, water, aid
At the start of the war, Israel stopped supplying food, medicine, energy and fuel to Gaza. But later allowed the delivery of those essentials through some crossings. However aid officials say security checks, fighting and the difficulty of moving through a war zone are severely hampering operations. The United Nations says the amount of food entering Gaza is only a fraction of what is needed to meet basic needs. A UN report published last month indicates that the entire population is facing crisis level due to hunger. The United Nations Humanitarian Office (OCHA) said last week that Israeli authorities were systematically blocking access to northern Gaza.
Israel, which inspects goods bound for Gaza, detains all goods deemed by Hamas to be of military use. Objections to that are rejected. The Palestinian government has blamed the UN’s delivery mechanism for insufficient aid reaching civilians in the Gaza Strip. Gaza strip is a concentration camp… how they are trying to kill 2.3 million people by exposing them to contagious diseases. Israel opened a second crossing for aid trucks in December. It was intended to double the amount of food and medicine by bringing up to 200 trucks into Gaza per day. The World Health Organization says it has been forced to cancel several planned aid deliveries in recent weeks after failing to secure safety certificates.
In addition to starvation and diseases, 2.3 million people are exposed for killing. It must be said that German Hitler was more humane than the Zionists.
