The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has apprehended a female suspect, the chief at the A/L examination center in Moratuwa Maha Vidyalaya, for her alleged involvement in leaking questions of the 2023 G.C.E. Advanced Level Agricultural Science papers.
The CID had previously arrested a male suspect and an A/L Agricultural Science teacher.
All three suspects are remanded until February 2, 2024. The Department of Examinations canceled the relevant papers and rescheduled the exam for February 1, 2024, citing leaked questions. Investigations by the CID are ongoing.
