The President’s Fund announces the extension and enhancement of its scholarship program for the academic year 2021/2022 in Sri Lanka.
The initiative aims to support financially challenged students across all provinces, ensuring unhindered pursuit of education.
In response to student requests, the monthly allowance is increased from Rs. 5,000.00 to Rs. 6,000.00, effective February 2024.
This adjustment seeks to provide additional financial support to scholarship recipients until they sit for the G.C.E A/L examination.
The President’s Fund will also award grants to 5,000 students achieving the highest qualifications in the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination for 2022/2023, offering a monthly allowance of Rs. 6,000.00 until the completion of their school education, including the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination.
