JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, on an official visit to India, met with National Security Advisor to discuss regional security and bilateral relations.
The delegation, including NPP’s Vijitha Herath, is on a five-day visit covering New Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Thiruvananthapuram. This marks the first invitation to the JVP leader by New Delhi.
Anura Kumara also discussed Sri Lanka’s economic challenges with India’s Minister of External Affairs, who assured continued support under India’s Neighbourhood First and SAGAR policies.
