The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a temporary suspension of water supply for parts of Colombo this evening. The interruption is scheduled to last for 16 hours, starting from 5:00 p.m. today until 9:00 a.m. tomorrow (Feb. 18).
Affected areas include Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. The water cut is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance work planned under the Ambatale Water Supply System Improvements and Energy Saving Project, as stated by the NWSDB.
