The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahia, touched down in the country on Monday night (February 19th) for a three-day official visit.
A group of 20 individuals, including the Iranian Foreign Minister, received a warm welcome at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake last evening, as reported by an Ada Derana correspondent.
Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahia, on an official invitation extended by Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry, will be staying in Sri Lanka from the 19th to the 21st of February. During his visit, he is scheduled to make courtesy calls on President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
Furthermore, the Iranian Foreign Minister and his delegation are slated to engage in official discussions with Minister Ali Sabry at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
