Saudi’s another project to combat blindness in Sri Lanka successfully completed in Walasmulla and Kattankudy

Based on the distinguished relations between the two countries and the keenness of the leadership of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of low-income people and affected communities around the world, and in continuation of the humanitarian work provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for the Republic of Sri Lanka, the latest of which is the Noor Saudi Volunteer Project in “Walasmulla” area in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka from 03rd  to 09th November 2024, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center is implementing the Noor Saudi Volunteer Project to combat blindness and diseases that cause it at the government hospital in “Kattankudy” area in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka during the period from November 11th  to 16th, 2024.

This project includes performing surgeries for thousands of cases and providing them with medical services and providing them with medicines, spectacles and lenses in addition to providing them with health awareness.
