The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel’s recent actions aimed at displacing Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and legitimizing illegal settlements in the West Bank.
In an official statement, the Kingdom denounced the Israeli occupation authorities’ announcement regarding the establishment of an agency focused on displacing Palestinians from Gaza. Additionally, Saudi Arabia criticized the approval of separating 13 illegal settlement neighborhoods in the West Bank, a move seen as a step toward legitimizing them as colonial settlements.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s firm rejection of Israel’s continued violations of international law and international humanitarian law. The statement emphasized that such actions undermine efforts for a just and lasting peace in the region.
Furthermore, the Kingdom reiterated that a sustainable resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict cannot be achieved without ensuring the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights. Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.
The condemnation comes amid heightened tensions in the region and ongoing international debates regarding Israel’s settlement policies and their impact on peace efforts. Saudi Arabia continues to call for the international community to uphold legal and humanitarian principles and to work towards a fair and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian cause.
