Protest in Colombo Demands End to Genocide in Palestine

A protest was held yesterday (23 April) in front of the Colombo Fort Railway Station, calling for an immediate end to the genocide in Palestine. The demonstration was organized by the People’s Movements Against the Genocide in Palestine and drew the participation of politicians, activists, and members of the public.

Protesters held placards bearing powerful slogans such as “Ensure the right to life of Palestinian children,” “From Colombo to Gaza, Stop the killing,” “End the oppression,” and “Liberate Palestine,” expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemning the ongoing violence.

Member of Parliament Mujibur Rahman were among the attendees  , as well as social activists and Palestinian supporters.

Organizers emphasized the need for global awareness and international action to halt the bloodshed and ensure justice for the Palestinian people.
