Sri Lanka has expressed deep concern over the recent strikes reported in Qatar, warning that the developments could heighten volatility and undermine regional security.
In a statement issued yesterday (10), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism urged all parties to exercise restraint and remain committed to diplomatic dialogue in pursuit of peace and stability in the region.
The Ministry further stressed the importance of upholding universally accepted international norms and laws in addressing the situation.
