A notice circulating on social media claiming that the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Colombo will only accept SriLankan Airlines or Al Jazeera Airways tickets for visa endorsements from September 18, 2025, has been confirmed as fake according to Kuwait Embassy sources in Colombo
The document, dated September 11 and purportedly signed by a diplomatic attaché, has been widely shared among recruiting agencies and prospective migrant workers. It states that passengers must travel only via the two specified airlines for visa processing.
