Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of carrying out an airstrike on a hospital in Kabul that was treating drug users, claiming the attack resulted in hundreds of deaths.

Afghan officials stated that the strike, which occurred on Monday, directly hit the facility in the capital, causing significant casualties among both patients and medical staff. Authorities have suggested that the death toll could reach as high as 400.

However, Pakistan has strongly rejected the आरोप, describing the claims as false and aimed at misleading public opinion. In an official statement, Islamabad said its forces had instead targeted military installations in Kabul and in Nangarhar Province during the operation.

The incident comes amid escalating tensions between the two neighbouring countries, with both sides exchanging accusations following a series of recent cross-border attacks. Independent verification of the claims remains unavailable.
