Sri Lanka Envoy Meets Nepal PM, Reaffirms Bilateral Ties

Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Nepal, Ruwanthi Delpitiya, paid a courtesy call on Nepal’s newly elected Prime Minister, Balendra Shah, in Kathmandu.

The meeting took place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar, where she joined other Heads of Diplomatic Missions.

During the discussions, Ambassador Delpitiya conveyed Sri Lanka’s congratulations to Prime Minister Shah on his recent election victory and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations with Nepal.

She also highlighted the importance of continued diplomatic engagement and mutual cooperation between the two nations.
