Announcing that it will provide military equipment and fuel aid to the Kyiv administration with Russia’s attack on Ukraine, France does not share information about the nature of the weapon support it has sent to this country.
According to Le Monde’s report, the Paris administration is very cautious about arms support and deliveries to Ukraine.
After the government sent protective equipment, helmets, and bulletproof vests to the Kyiv administration, President Emmanuel Macron and French Foreign Minister Jean Yves Le Drian stated on 6th March that support to Ukraine was limited to the aid of military equipment and fuel.
Meanwhile, a diplomatic source said that between February 28th and March 3rd, France sent several dozen Milanese anti-tank missiles to the Ukrainian army across the Polish border.
The reason behind the gradual deliveries of the Macron administration to Ukraine lies in its desire to preserve communication channels with Russia.
It is stated that the weapons sent by France have started to be used in the field in Ukraine.
Despite the questions posed, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs refrains from commenting on the nature and details of the weapons sent to Ukraine, and the General Staff does not share information on their content.
