It was learned that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to information received from circles close to the German government, during the talks, Germany and France demanded that Russia immediately declare a ceasefire in Ukraine.
During the meeting, Macron and Scholz reportedly insisted that any solution to the crisis in Ukraine should come through negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
It was stated that the three leaders agreed to stay in close contact with each other in the coming days.
