There have been allegations that Thriposha is not distributed by the Office of Health Medical Officers island-wide.
According to the report, children in the North Central and Eastern Provinces are more likely to be malnourished due to lack of Thriposha.
Pregnant mothers in the area say they have only gotten Thriposha in the first few months.
When asked about this, Lanka Thriposha said that the production of Thriposha has been suspended for three months due to shortage of raw materials.
