There is a possibility for Showers and thundershowers during the evening or night in most parts of the country.
Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and some places in Galle and Matara districts are expected to receive more than 50mm of rain.

Occasionally there will be strong winds during thundershowers. The public is advised to take necessary precautionary measures to minimize the damages caused by lightning strikes.
