Special security arrangements have been made by the military in other parts of the country, including the Colombo.
The Army said that surveillance operations have been launched in Colombo this morning with armoured vehicles.
Also, the Special Forces engaged in surveillance operations in Colombo, Pita kotte, Mirihana, Kirulapana and Kollupitiya.
