The University of Peradeniya has taken steps to suspend all academic activities and examinations due to the ongoing crisis in the country, said the vice chancellor Professor MD Lamawansa.
In addition, steps have been taken to close student hostels.
Due to this, the university administration has informed all the students staying in the hostels to leave the hostels with immediate effect and go home, the vice chancellor said.
