All government and government-approved private schools within the limits of Colombo city will be closed next week, says the Secretary to the Ministry of Education.
This announcement was made today (18).
The Education Ministry has decided to close schools in main cities next week due to the ongoing fuel crisis in the country.
The Ministry of Education also said that Public Utilities Commission has informed them that they will not impose power cuts from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in order to conduct online studies.
