Pakistan President Arif Alvi has extended his wishes to newly appointed President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Issuing a special congratulatory message to the President on yesterday (August 01), the President of Pakistan said it is his hope to further strengthen the existing relations between the two countries for the betterment of both countries.
Further, President Alvi stated that under the leadership of Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe, Sri Lanka will overcome the existing economic crisis and in the future Sri Lanka and Pakistan will work very closely to develop cooperation in all fields.
