The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today ordered that Dhanish Ali, who was arrested for forcibly entering the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and disrupting the broadcast, be released on bail.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Nandana Amarasinghe released the suspect on a cash bail of Rs. 25,000 and two personal sureties of Rs. 500,000 each, when he was produced before the court today (15).
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Police arrested Ali on July 26 on a warrant at the airport when he was attempting to flee the country.
